Breast cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells from in the tissues of the breast. Doctors know that breast occurs when some breast cells begin to grow abnormally.

The person that discovered breast cancer is Edwin Smith in 1775. The origin of word cancer is credited to the greek physician hippocrates. It means a disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body.
